Every year, the GSM Association organises the Glomo Awards at the Mobile World Congress to reward the best developments and innovations in the mobile industry. The winners, who will be announced at the congress in Barcelona, will receive an award in one of the eight categories:
“Mobile connectivity is fundamental in our everyday lives and has transformed the way we live, work, access essential services and communicate,” said Michael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA. “The Glomo Awards provide a global platform to showcase the most significant, dynamic and revolutionary innovations that are shaping the future of the mobile industry.”
By investing two-thirds of its income into the quest for a solution that boosts the productivity of the deployment and maintenance teams of fibre and mobile networks, ITD hopes to win the recognition of its peers by entering the competition for the best mobile infrastructure, in the best mobile technology category, that rewards companies that “with their products or services, enable operators to substantially cut the operating life cycle costs of a network, because the network represents the highest investments in capital and operating costs.”
Communications Manager, Claire Rouchaud, admits that “Entering and, most of all, winning an award like this may seem ambitious for an SME that is competing with giants like Ericsson and Huawei. But we are very innovative and highly motivated. The new version of ClickOnSite has already won over several operators in Europe, Africa and Asia. So why not the jury too? By entering the Glomo Awards, we are confirming our position in the industry, asserting ourselves and making our name known. Winning would be a triumph for our team of passionate enthusiasts. “
We’ll see you at the awards ceremony, and you can already make an appointment to meet us at the Congress, in the same place as last year, on stand 5B41!
