In early October our MD, Jérôme Perret and Director of Marketing, Steve Zitkovich, travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa to attend the TowerXchange Meetup Africa & Middle East. It was 2 full days with decision makers and professionals in the tower industry, and the information and connections we gathered from the officially organized meetings, informal gatherings, exhibitors and conference materials, were remarkable.
Highlights of our meetings:
- Personal introductions and conversations with senior managers of MNOs and tower companies across Africa and the Middle East
- Agreeing to a partnership with a Remote Monitoring System company (announcement soon)
- Introductory demos of ClickOnSite with prospective clients
We are doing a lot of work following up the interest and sales leads generated in Johannesburg, but we like this kind of work!
The TowerXchange Meetup was so useful that we will go to the TowerXchange Asia Meetup in Singapore on 12-13 December 2017. We are excited to make as many great connections related to our Southeast Asia growth as we did TowerXchange Meetup Africa & Middle East.
